LeeMoon Face Cream - Review

LeeMoon face cream for moisture and glow.

Coconut oil has a melting point at 25 degrees so it's a must to store the cream in the fridge or a very cool bathroom now during summer. I have to store it in the fridge otherwise it melts in to an oil which is harder to apply. The good thing about keeping it cool is that it is nice and cold and refreshing to apply after a day out in the sun. And that's what I would recommend it for the most, to use after you been in the sun and not before. Coconut oil is a good multi tasker which also makes this product great for more then just a face cream. It can be used as a make up remover for example. Massage the product on to your face and remove the residue with a damp cloth. Really good for mascara.
It can also be used on dry lips to heal and nurture. Just apply a small amount and leave on. The product is not harmful at all with its pure ingredients list.

The cream is pretty light and easy to apply. Take just a small amount and massage in to skin that has been cleaned good. Skin should be a bit moist for the oil to really absorb the best.

It smells very tropical and fresh of coconut and grapefruit. The grapefruit essential oil is very subtle and don't leave a too strong scent which I think is important for a product used on the face.

It contains only natural ingredients: coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, vitamin E and grapefruit essential oil.

Coconut oil is said to have a lot of benefits not just for face but hair and body as well. For the face it will bring moisture and some what also work as an anti age cream. It has some anti bacterial properties as well so it can protect your skin from smaller impurities.
Coconut oil offers some protection against solar radiation. With SPF 4, coconut oil may not keep you safe during a full day on the beach, but if you have been in the sun without any kind of protection, applying coconut oil immediately afterward reduces the damage.

Extra virgin olive oil is loaded with nutrition and antioxidants like vitamins A and E.
The olive oil penetrates deep into the skin on your face, providing needed moisture as well as a shield to protect your skin and when massaged gently into your face, it helps to promote your skin’s elasticity.

Beeswax when used in lotions and creams, creates a barrier which helps to seal moisture into the skin. This is especially beneficial on the lips during the dry winter months or under the harsh sun. This barrier also helps to protect the skin from environmental toxins and irritants.
Beeswax also has Vitamin A, which improves hydration to the skin and promotes cell regeneration.

Vitamin E restores dehydrated skin and boosts the production of collagen, a fiber-like protein that is responsible for maintaining skin elasticity. It also contains antioxidants that neutralize the effects of free radicals caused by ultraviolet radiation, thus soothing sunburns. Perfect to treat your skin after a day at the beach.
It's also a natural preserver to make the product stay fresh. A lot of benefits but if you have acne prone or oily skin to much vitamin e can cause more break outs.

Grapefruit essential oil keeps the skin clean. It is good for treating oily skin and acne and provides a refreshing feeling.
Like all other citrus fruits its essential oil is present in its peel and is extracted by compression. It is a natural astringent which removes excess oils within the pores. Grapefruit essential oil is non-toxic, non-sensitive and non-irritant. However, it is an oil that must not be applied on skin that’s going to be exposed to sunlight, due to reaction with UV. It's a very small amount in this oil so it's nothing to be to scared of.
